Join us for an evening of laughs (and maybe some tears!) at the In Sickness & In Health Party hosted by the ever-wonderful and hilarious Ashley Chamblin! Turn last year's horror stories into this year's good karma points by donating to VOW for Girls!
Gowanus Hospitality and Ashley Chamblin invite you to "In Sickness and In Health", a storytelling hour inspired by the Moth for our pals to share their worst and craziest stories from the battlefield of weddings and events.
After the difficulty our industry has experienced over the last two years, join us for a light-hearted evening to share a laugh in this safe place! This is a vendor-only event. No photography, no recordings, no judgment. Feel free to let it all out!
The party will begin with some liquid courage during cocktail hour and tunes by DJ Brent Fierro | empanadamn! You'll have a chance to throw your name in the ever-popular mason jar to tell a horror story of your own. After the storytelling hour has come to an end, get ready to bust out those moves you hold back every weekend with Vitamin M Music and hype team DJ TRX & Samonce. Grab a friend and snap a photo in the one-of-a-kind VW bus hosted by Long Beach Photo Bus & don't miss out on tasty snacks from our friends Wild Flour, Poppy's Catering, Persevering Harvest Catering, and Ample Hills Creamery!

Although this is a free event, we will use your bad luck and turn it into something good! We are asking attendees for a suggested $20 donation, 100% of which will be going to VOW for Girls. You can give directly at this link, where donations will go to support grassroots organizations that are working to end child marriage in our lifetime.

Simply show your receipt/ proof of donation at the door. We know life gets hectic and will have a laptop at check-in available to make donations. With a donation of $20 you will receive open bar with selected hand crafted cocktails, storytelling hour, a dance party, and an evening to remember for all of 2022!
